* AVORIO.... why? *

Oggi vorrei parlarvi della scelta del nome AVORIO per le mie attività...

Me l'avete chiesto in tante e vorrei darvi una risposta.

In effetti i fotografi solitamente usano i loro nomi propri per identificare il loro lavoro,

ma per me era molto più importante dare l'idea di un mondo, 

che unisse tante passioni in un' unica parola:

per questo ad AVORIO ho associato PHOTO, PAPER e presto ci sarà anche FABRIC.

In futuro chissà, potrebbe esserci altro!!

Ho scelto AVORIO 

perché mi piace il suono caldo della parola;

perché per me é il colore del matrimonio; 

perché se fossi un colore vorrei essere avorio;

perché sa di pulito, candido e luminoso;

perché richiama l'immagine di qualcosa di elegante dai contorni sfumati;

perché alle mie creature voglio dare nomi che iniziano con la lettera A;

perché all'interno della parola ci sono le iniziali dei nostri nomi 

Alessandro, Veronica e Riccardo.

Mi piace pensare che AVORIO spieghi da sola tutto ciò che vorrei essere.

Today I'd like to tell you why I chose AVORIO (ivory) for my activities' name...

Most of you asked me why and I want to give you an answer.

Photographers normally use their names to identify their job, 

but it was more important to me to give the idea of a world

that could join many interests in one word:

That's why I joined AVORIO to PHOTO, PAPER and FABRIC as soon as possible.

Maybe it could be something else in future!

I chose AVORIO

because I love the warm sound of the word;

because in my opinion it is the wedding color;

because if I were a color, I'd love to be ivory;

because it reminds me something clean, candid and lighting;

because it reminds me the image of something elegant with soft shapes;

because I want my creatures to have the letter A as name's initial;

because inside this word there are our names' initials

Alessandro, Veronica and Riccardo.

I like thinking that AVORIO explains by itself what I'd like to be.
